Hello fellow developer, and welcome to the 99th edition of the Dev Digest. We asked you what you thought about this, and from the next edition onwards there will be some changes. But for now, here are news about ethical hacking, developer experience, what's new in CSS and when and how much time you should take off as an engineer. Oh, and CODE100 news, but more on that tomorrow.
This week we have no new CODE100 puzzle, but instead we spent some time creating a brand new archive of all puzzles of in-person events and the ones offered here. It is probably a good ideas to have a peek at some of them as this Friday we have some huge news about the next edition of CODE100, in-person and in a place where AJAX is still a big thing. CSS is one of the most fast-moving web standards out there and it is tough to keep up. Kevin Powell is doing a tremendous job explaining new features on YouTube and his Keeping up with CSS: The features released in 2023 is an excellent round-up of new features and how to use them.
